The course is applicable for power plant operating personnel. The participant will learn the Omnivise T3000 operating functions, and how to use the operating view for tasks associated with process management and information. Classes scheduled must meet at least four students minimum. Course can also be scheduled upon request at customer’s facilities.

Advanced workbench handling with project examples, reports, ETS, hardware configuration.

Exchange of S7-400H and I/O modules; analysis/removal of drive faults, basics of PROFIBUS/PROFINET.

This course is designed for the personnel responsible for the day-to-day maintenance activities of the Omnivise T3000 control system. Participants will learn how to differentiate between hardware and software problems, diagnose network problems, replace I/O and server modules, preserve system data utilizing backup concepts and troubleshoot the system using a logical approach.

This course explores the hardware devices commonly found in the Control Room. Students will gain an understanding of what each device is used for and how to properly implement, maintain, and troubleshoot. The student will also learn how to properly administer each device in T3000, create each device’s management proxy, and appropriate communication containers when necessary. The course focuses on all users dealing with I&C engineering, and service.
